Frequently Asked Questions

What does * mean in cron?
An asterisk means every value for that field. For example, * in the minute field means every minute.
How do I run a job every 15 minutes?
Use */15 in the minute field with the other fields set to * (for example: */15 * * * *).
Can I type a raw cron expression directly?
Yes. Switch to Raw Input mode to edit the expression manually while keeping the visual builder in sync when possible.
